Faṭimah: Can a girl experience menstruation before reaching the age of religious obligation[1]?

Mother: Women may experience menstrual blood up to the age of sixty lunar years (menopause),[2] and any blood that discharges after that is not menstrual blood but Istiḥāḍa.[3]

[1] The age of religious obligation for girls is at the completion of nine lunar years, approximately equivalent to eight years, eight months, and twenty days in the solar calendar.
[2] This is approximately equivalent to fifty-eight years and eighty days in the solar calendar. It is important to note that the age of menopause, which nullifies the waiting period observed after divorce, is different from the menopause related to menstruation. [3] Istiḥāḍa means irregular and abnormal vaginal bleeding outside the time of the monthly period.
