In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

The heinous crime committed by the Zionist occupation regime at dawn on Friday—in which a number of Iranian scholars, military commanders, and civilian citizens, including women and children, were martyred, and several scientific institutions and centers in the country were attacked—has once again demonstrated the dangerous and aggressive nature of this regime.
While praying for divine mercy and exalted ranks for the noble martyrs, offering condolences to their esteemed families, and wishing a swift recovery for the wounded and afflicted, we strongly condemn this criminal act and call upon the international community to exert pressure on this aggressor regime and its supporters to prevent the continuation of such acts of aggression.
We beseech Almighty God for the continued dignity and honor of the noble Iranian nation. "There is no power and no strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Most Great."

Statement » Translation of the Statement by the Office of His Eminence Regarding the Terrorist Attack on Innocent Travelers in Parachinar, Pakistan

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
(Indeed, we are from Allah, and to Him we shall return.)
To our believing brothers and sisters in the city of Parachinar, Pakistan (May Allah Almighty strengthen them),

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
Once again, merciless terrorists have committed a heinous crime by carrying out an armed attack on travelers journeying from Parachinar to Peshawar, martyring and injuring a large number of innocent muʾminīn (believers).
We extend our condolences to you, dear ones, and express our heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the grieving families. We pray for patience and endurance for all, swift recovery for the injured, and the highest ranks in Paradise for the martyrs of this tragic incident.
The Seminary of Holy Najaf and the Supreme Shia Authority strongly condemn this horrific crime, which targets the unity of Muslims. We urge the honorable government of Pakistan to take measures to protect defenseless citizens against the oppression and atrocities of terrorist groups. It is imperative to adopt necessary preventive actions to ensure that innocent muʾminīn are not subjected to violent and savage attacks by extremist and ruthless groups time and again.
We pray to Almighty Allah for the continued dignity and prosperity of the noble people of Pakistan.

Statement » Translation of the Statement from al-Sayyid al-Sistani’s office (may Allah preserve him) on the Martyrdom of Allama Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah

In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

“Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah. Of them, some have fulfilled their vow [by death], and some are still waiting, but they have never changed [their determination] in the least.” [Quran: 33: 23]
We received with deep sorrow the news of the martyrdom of Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, along with several of his comrades in the Lebanese resistance and many innocent civilians, in the heinous crime carried out by the Israeli army in Beirut’s southern suburb.
This great martyr was a unique leader in recent decades, playing a prominent role in the victory over the Israeli occupiers and in the liberation of Lebanese lands. He also supported the people of Iraq with all his strength in freeing their country from ISIS terrorists. Moreover, he took shining stances in supporting the oppressed people of Palestine and ultimately sacrificed his valuable life in this path.
We offer our deepest condolences to the dear people of Lebanon and other oppressed nations for this great calamity and immense loss. We beseech Almighty God to envelop this noble martyr in His vast mercy and divine pleasure and to grant him companionship with His awliyāʾ, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his pure household, in the highest ranks of paradise. We also ask God to bestow patience and great reward upon his family and all those grieving for him.
Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.

Statement » Translation of Statement by the Office of al-Sayyid al-Sistani (may he live long) regarding the Continuous Bombing Throughout the Gaza Strip

In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

During these days, the Gaza Strip is being subjected to continuous bombing and intense attacks, which are unparalleled and have currently resulted in the death and injury of more than six thousand innocent civilians, the displacement of large numbers of people from their homes, and the destruction of vast residential areas. The extent of the bombing, which is targeting many areas, has left no safe place for people to shelter.
At the same time, the occupying army is imposing a stifling siege on the Gaza Strip, which most recently includes water, food, medicine, and other necessities of life, with the objective of causing the greatest harm to people who have no recourse and are powerless, as if its intent is to take revenge on them and compensate for its resounding loss and great failure in recent confrontations.
This is happening in full view of the whole world without any deterrent or prohibition. Rather, there are those who support these criminal acts and justify them under the pretext of self-defense!
The entire world is called upon to stand up against this terrible brutality and to stop the occupying forces from continuing to carry out their plans to cause further harm to the oppressed Palestinian people.
Ending the tragedy of the respected people of Palestine, which has persisted for seven decades, by granting them their legitimate rights and removing the occupation from their usurped lands is the only way to bring security and peace to this region. Without this, resistance to the aggressors will continue and the cycle of violence will keep on claiming more innocent lives. Indeed, there is no recourse nor strength except in Allah Almighty.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate the Merciful

There is no power nor strength except through Allah, the Most High
The severe earthquake that struck a few days ago large areas of Turkish and Syrian territory, as revealed by recent news reports, has resulted in large numbers of victims and injuries and huge material losses in housing and infrastructure, in a humanitarian disaster that has been unparalleled in the recent era.
The supreme religious authority in Najaf Ashraf, while expressing its condolences and solidarity with those who lost their loved ones in this tragedy and praying to Allah Almighty for them patience and solace and for the wounded and injured with healing and wellness, it hopes that the efforts of the concerned authorities and the general philanthropists will be combined in order to provide the necessary needs for those affected as soon as possible.
We ask Allah Almighty to ward off the affliction of everyone and bless them with goodness and peace, for He is the guardian of that and He is the Most Merciful.

Verily we belong to Allah (SWT) and to Him do we return.

Dear Brothers and sisters in faith in Peshawar, Pakistan

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

The painful tragedy that took place today (04 Mar 2022) during the Friday prayers in the Kucha Risaldar Mosque, and which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a large number of innocent worshipers, caused great sorrow and grief. While offering condolences to you dear ones and expressing sympathy with the bereaved families, we ask Allah for patience for all and urgent healing for the injured and the highest degrees for the martyrs of this heart-rending event.

The Islamic Seminary of Najaf and the supreme religious authority condemn this horrific crime that targets the unity of Muslims, and urges the government of Pakistan to take prevent measures to protect oppressed people from the tyranny and crime of terrorist groups and take the necessary precautions, and not allow their religious gatherings to be subjected to savage and brutal attacks by extremist and stone-hearted groups.

We ask Allah Almighty to perpetuate the esteem and pride of the honorable people of Pakistan.
