Question: Regarding the present Sa'y, is it sufficient (valid) to perform Sa'y in it, knowing that entry to perform Sa'y in the previous Masa'a is prohibited?
Answer: It is obligatory to start from the original Mount Safa. If pilgrims are prevented from using the old Masa'a, it is permissible for them to perform their Sa'ee in the new one. However, they should stay as close as possible to the old route—specifically toward the left, along the wheelchair lane—as parts of the new Masa'a are said to overlap with the original one.
